Making my way out of the cafeteria to check my mailbox by the nurse's office, I noticed someone who looked familiar walking towards me. He came to a stop in front of the mailroom. Confused I stopped walking, and my friend Elaine asked me what was wrong.  Staring back at the man before me, I noticed he smiled at me, and it was then I realized who it was, Caleb someone I most definantly didn't want to see especially here. I gently put down my bag knowing he was not here to talk; looking at Elaine I told her to trust me and go back to the cafeteria.  I moved into my fighting stance, as his smile turned into a sneer.
"Finally,” Caleb said. “I have found you, trust me it was not easy."  
I replied “You did not come here to talk, so let us finish this." And with that I slid my left leg out and kept my wrists together moving them and a force field in his direction.  Not expecting this he went flying into the door at the end of the hallway.  I used this moment to take the stairs by the mailroom out to the parking lot where he met me, wiping the door fragments off his shirt.  "I must say I'm surprised protector you have grown quite strong, but foolish.  Did you not think that I wouldn't find you?  Now I'm going to hurt you and make you watch me kill all your friends and then I will kill you."
    I smiled at him.  “You will not touch them."  Keeping my guard I looked around and saw that people were beginning to stare.  
Crud if I don't end this know everything will be revealed. All our plans will be undone.  
Caleb used this momentary distraction to slam a force field into my chest, knocking not only the wind out of me but it sent me straight into the pavement.  Slowly I rose onto one knee trying to catch my breath; I looked toward Chatlos to see professors running towards me.  
  "Stop,” I yelled.  “Stay there!”  And thankfully they stopped looking confused at me.  Standing up, I placed my palms together and concentrated, placing a protective force field around everything to keep it from being destroyed, nothing could leave or enter.  I jumped high above our battlefield trying to find Caleb, but as soon as I jumped high enough I felt something grab my ankle. He spun me in a circle gaining momentum and then flung me towards the ground. Smashing into the pavement I let out a loud cry, not expecting so much force. He landed on top of my grabbing my collar, pulling my face close to his.  
"I told you this was foolish, to think that you could actually beat me, what a pitiful existence you live, protecting humans who take everything and destroy it. They are like a plague, and soon they will be wiped from the face of this planet, they will become a mere memory."  
  "You're wrong,” I told him.  “They are not the plague you are!"  With that, I brought my knees up and slammed my feet into his chest sending him flying into the air; I came to my feet and launched myself above him.  Bringing my hands together into one giant fist I slammed it into his back launching him back down to earth.  Landing softly on my feet, I looked out past the force field I saw the people I so dearly loved, and was astonished at what I saw on their faces.  I did not see fear or hatred, I saw concern and curiosity.  Allowing myself to be distracted, I felt someone's knee slam into my stomach, which was followed by a fist into my mouth, knocking me to the ground.  Caleb then grabbed my collar hoisting me up and threw me into a parked car.  But, before I could recover, he picked me up again and threw my high into the air, and leaping above me spun and connected his foot with the top of my head; once again slamming me into the pavement.  Spitting out blood I tried to rise but was slammed down again with a knee in my back, which crushed my ribs. Caleb then squatted in front of me and smiled as I tried to breathe in which sent sharp, stabbing pains through my chest.
   “Well he said. This has been so much fun, but I have decided I’m just going to kill you now.”
He grabbed me by my hair and dragged me a few feet. He then walked in front of me and closed his eyes; apparently concentrating. Slowly energy built up into his hands until he had made a sword. But I did not see the sword or him, or anything else. All I could hear was the sound of my friends screaming for me to survive in my head, and as the will to live became a fire burning in my chest. I heard a voice call out to me, and it said
Let me take over and banish this guy for good, let me out.
I gave in to the voice and when I did I felt power like I have never felt before. Caleb then looked at me in sheer shock.
“How did you stand, you should be half dead by now!”
I looked at him with fire in my eyes. I rose into the sky bringing him with me. In a voice that was my own but not at the same time, it was strong and powerful; it commanded respect and attention.
“Caleb for your crimes against humanity and for willingness to not change from your evil ways, I cannot kill you but I will banish you forever!  Slowly his form began to dissipate until he was no more.  Then with Caleb gone the power within me began to fade, it was not gone from me but just not so overwhelming.  The force field disappeared and I fell from the sky landing softly on the ground, I closed my eyes.
The voice inside my head called out and said do not worry little one I have not left you but merely shielded you from my power. All the answers will come in time, but for now sleep.
With those words the blackness claimed me.
